Community Raises Funds for Bemidji House Fire Victim’s Son

Family friends are raising funds to support a boy who recently lost his mother and his home to a Bemidji fire last Wednesday.

The fatal fire, where one died and a five-year-old girl went missing but was found the next day, is still under investigation. Authorities believe it was a homicide but have not confirmed that since last week’s press conference. Jacob W. Kinn, 32, of Bemidji, has been charged with kidnapping and is currently held in Beltrami County Jail.

The boy was out-of-town when the fire happened.

Family friends are trying to help rebuild the boy’s life and help with medical bills. Link to the GoFundMe page: http://www.gofundme.com/aaronstartingover
