Bemidji Stabbing Under Investigation

Bemidji, Minn., – The Bemidji Police Department is looking for information regarding the stabbing of a female victim last Friday.

According to a press release published by Chief Mike Mastin, “…officers discovered a 20-year-old female victim who was bleeding profusely from numerous stab wounds.”

The victim was discovered in the 4th Street Tesoro parking lot at 8:55 p.m. after an assault was reported to the police department. She was immediately transported to the Sanford Bemidji hospital for further care.

Bemidji police officers as well as Beltrami County Sheriff deputies spoke with several witnesses at the scene of the assault but the case remains under investigation.
