Bemidji Jaycees Red, White, & BOOM Firework Spectacular Moved To The Water

The Bemidji Jaycees Water Carnival Red, White, & BOOM! Fireworks Show, on July fourth, will be launched from a pontoon barge on Lake Bemidji, off of the Nymore Public Water Access on the lake’s south shore.

The Lake Bemidji Nymore Public Water Access Site will be closed to the public on July fourth, for a full 24 hours. There will be barricades put in place at the entrance to the parking lot of the Nymore Access at midnight on July fourth and will be removed at approximately midnight on July fifth.

The Bemidji Jaycees ask the public to please stay away from this area while the fireworks company, Zambelli Fireworks, sets up the show on the barge. Once the barge has been launched, there will be an 800-foot exclusion zone that must be maintained around the barge. The barge will be located in the southeast corner of the lake from approximately 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm. No boats will be allowed to enter the exclusion zone.

The Bemidji Jaycees ask for the public’s cooperation in this matter to help them maintain a safe show for everyone to enjoy.
