Day one of the 2015 football season is in the books. Bemidji looks to repeat their 2014 success, when they went 9-2, winning the Section 7-5A championship. This season, the Lumberjacks move over to Section 8-5A with Alexandria, Brainerd, Moorhead, Sartell-St. Stephen, and St. Cloud Apollo. Along with a new section, Bemidji turns to a new quarterback. The three candidates are senior Jalin Rose, and two juniors, Chris Larson, and Jonah Muller. Whoever wins the quarterback job will have some pressure lifted by senior running back Logan Hatfield, who rushed for more than 1,500 yards last season. Defensively, the Lumberjacks bring plenty of experience, a lot of speed, and a world of intensity.
