Bemidji Burglars Charged

A Bemidji man and woman were charged Tuesday for one count second-degree burglary.

Matthew Donald Saice, 25, was arrested Monday near Marketplace Foods, and Shauntel Agnes Saice, 27, was arrested Tuesday at Paul Bunyan Mall for burglary.

The reported burglary took place around 7 P.M. Sept. 23rd, when the home owners were away fishing from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M..

A deputy investigating another crime, came into contact with the Saices’.  The deputy searched Matthew Saice’s backpack and found an iPad and a Hummingbird HELIX fishfinder, which were a couple items reported stolen in the burglary.

A search warrant was executed in the Saices’ home and multiple other items that were reported stolen were found.
