Audubon Dogs Tortured and Murdered

Audubon, Minn., – Two huskies in Audobon were allegedly lured away from their home to be tortured.

Jon Houle, owner of the huskies, had been searching for his dogs since last Wednesday morning. He first found one dog, Denali, about a mile south of his property. Denali’s front leg was severley injured. An x-ray eventually revealed that he had about 40 BB pellets in his two front legs.

The next night Houle found his other dog, Diego, who by that point had already passed.

Houle believes the dogs were coaxed away from their home. He claims to not understand the motive or reasoning behind the torturing.

The Becker County Sheriff’s Office is working with Houle to find the perpetrator behind this act.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Becker County Sheriff’s Office.
